About The Position

S.I.C. Recycling, located in Riverton, IL, is looking for an experienced forklift repair technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair aerial lifts, Mitsubishi, and Caterpillar forklifts.

Description:

Duties include performing all maintenance and diagnostics on forklifts. In addition, candidate will also assist with maintenance on production equipment. The ideal candidate will a reliable, team player who is self-motivated. Training on production equipment repairs will be provided.

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge/experience
• Maintain proper parts inventory, tools, and equipment
• Maintain a clean work area, performing work in a neat and orderly fashion
• Follow ALL safety rules and regulations
• Assist in maintaining production equipment, including but not limited to routine maintenance, conveyor belt, 480-volt 3 phase motors, mechanical and electrical.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Dependable
• Previous industrial environment work preferred
• On-call availability
