About The Position

This position is responsible for carefully operating a forklift to move packages and materials around our facilities. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety in accordance with Tysons production guidelines and Safety.

Requirements

• INTERNAL REQUIREMENTS AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION: Team Members with 4 attendance points or more (2 points or more under probation) will not be considered.
• You must not have received a written warning within the last 12 months.
• Applicant must currently be forklift certified or able to get certified.
• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms above shoulder level up to 65lbs.
• Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently.
• Must be willing and able to climb step ladders and or stairs.
• Must be willing and able to perform repetitive movements.
• Must be willing and able to stand on hard surface for up to 10 hours per day.
• Must be willing and able to work in cold and damp environments.

Responsibilities

• Required to operate forklift and electronic pallet jack.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Use handheld scanner.
• Maintain Inventory.
• Small mechanical adjustments.
• Must be willing and able to visually inspect product for any deficiencies.
• Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
• Ability to use computer.
• Must be willing and able to obtain the Forklift Certification.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
