Forklift Operator - 2nd Shift
About The Position

Baillie Lumber's Smyrna, NY location is looking to add a Forklift Operator to their team. This is a great opportunity for an individual to join a world class lumber organization as a second shift forklift operator. The positions primary responsibilities include operating a forklift in a large open warehouse to locate/organize/move material as needed. Forklift Operator Pay & Benefits: Second Shift - 3:30pm - 12am M-F Hourly Pay - Minimum - Anticipated Maximum Salary: $16/hour - $19/hour Overtime Hours and Pay Full Plan of Benefits About Us: Baillie Lumber Co., is one of North America's largest hardwood lumber manufacturers, distributors and exporters. Requirements
- Previous experience as an equipment operator using a forklift required
- Prefer someone who has at least 1 year of experience within the last 2 years
- Must be self motivated and organized
- Willingness to work in outside environment
- Willingness to work overtime
Responsibilities
- Adherence to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Locating/pulling/organizing loads of material needed for orders
- Ability to work independently
- Assist shipping dept as needed for various duties
- Capable of working efficiently/safe as well as keeping a high level of precision
