1st shift -Forklift Operator- Outdoors/Yard
About The Position
This is a temporary-to-full-time 1st shift Forklift Operator position located in Ontario, CA, with a pay rate of $18/hr, paid weekly. The shift runs from 5am to 1:30pm, and overtime is required as needed. Candidates must be available to work alternate Saturdays. The work environment is an outdoor yard, characterized by strong odors from organics/perishables. The role involves loading, unloading, and transporting materials using a sit-down forklift, safely moving pallets, and assisting with general labor, cleaning, and organizing while strictly following all safety procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years manufacturing/production warehouse experience
- 2+ years sit-down forklift experience
- Able to work outdoors in a smelly environment
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and safety-focused
- Sit-down forklift certification
- Steel toed boots
- Must pass drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport materials using a sit-down forklift
- Move pallets 10 20 ft safely
- Assist with general labor, cleaning, and organizing
- Follow all safety procedures at all times
