About The Position

Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Forklift Driver to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. This position is available on first shift. Benefits: Weekly Pay Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance 401(k) with a generous company match Free Basic Life Insurance Short & Long-Term Disability Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary Location: 250 Swathmore Ave High Point, NC 27263 Responsibilities: Operate a forklift to safely and efficiently transport materials, components, and finished products within the manufacturing facility. Load and unload materials from trucks, pallets, racks, or shelves, ensuring proper placement and securing of loads to prevent damage or accidents. Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting pre-operational checks on the forklift. Inspect forklift and related equipment for any defects or malfunctions before each use and report any issues to supervisors or maintenance personnel. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate activities, communicate any issues or concerns, and ensure timely delivery of materials to designated areas. Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge related to forklift operation, safety procedures, and company policies. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management to support the overall goals and objectives of the company. Education Requirements/Qualifications: Minimum of a high school education or equivalent. Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required. Valid forklift operator certification or license. Proven experience as a forklift driver in a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong understanding of forklift operation and safety procedures. Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness. Ability to lift and move heavy objects as needed. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Attention to detail and accuracy in load handling and placement. Requirements

Minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
