About The Position
Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will assist with empty pallet sortation and loading on truck among other duties.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Ability to operate Selector/Reach/Pacer/Drexel/Turret
- Ability to operate RF Scanner
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to abide by all Company Business Standards
- Ability to abide by all Safety Rules, policies and procedures
- Overtime as needed
Responsibilities
- Assist with empty pallet sortation and loading on trucks
- Consolidation inventory in reserve locations
- Pick full pallet kills and full pallet transfers
- Assist with special warehouse projects outside the job scope
- Any and all other duties required by facility workload
- Other duties as assigned
