About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for transporting finished products from the production line to designated staging areas within the warehouse. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a fast-paced industrial environment and a strong understanding of warehouse organization and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification.
- Must have previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and supplies.
- Transport materials between warehouse, production, and shipping areas.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.
