About The Position

We are looking for a 1st Shift Forklift Operator: Essential Functions · Transport all needed supplies correctly and on time to required line or pre-batch area. · Communicate with internal customers to determine proper quantities and placement of items needed. · Responsible for complying with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), maintaining proper sanitation and housekeeping in area. · Properly put away any warehouse loads. · Communicate and coordinate with other Material Handlers to ensure efficient operation of the department. · Inform proper departments or supervisors of any issues or concerns. · Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. · Create and Receive TOP’s \ POP’s if needed. · Schedule appointments \ answer emails and phone calls.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
2 Years of consistent and safe forklift operation on a stand-up forklift.
The ability to read and understand Line schedules and material needs.
Positive attendance record.
Safe operation of stand-up and sit-down fork truck.
Basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is a plus.
Previous experience in shipping and receiving is a plus.
