Forklift Operator Second Shift
About The Position

They aim to create a workplace where employees are supported, challenged, and recognized. The company is seeking experienced forklift operators for a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position. In this role, operators will safely move and handle products using sit-down forklifts equipped with various clamps and forks, including equipment larger than a standard 5K lift. This position requires prior experience with such equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in their work, thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to work independently. The role reports to the site supervisor and may involve working across multiple Franklin Logistics locations based on business needs.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1 year Forklift (5k or higher) Experience Required
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted
- Must be able to walk, bend, lift, and sit throughout the duration of the shift
- Must be flexible with working in multiple site locations
- Pre-hire Drug Screening Required
Nice To Haves
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (preferred)
- 1 year Warehouse Experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Work in a safe manner while maintaining the quality of the product
- Load and unload rail cars, flatbed trucks, and trailers
- Move and stack materials per the company instructions
- Separate, inspect, and pack product kits per customer instructions
- Receive and process shipments
- General housekeeping duties in production areas
- Comply with and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
- Perform proper forklift inspections and adhere to all forklift operating guidelines and procedures
