About The Position

Circular Services is a leading developer and operator of circular economy infrastructure and services and the largest private recycling company in the U.S. with operations across the country. We help businesses and municipalities reduce and divert waste, lowering disposal costs and fueling local supply chains by ensuring materials are recovered, recycled, and reused. The Forklift Operator drives powered industrial trucks to load and unload materials and deliveries and move them to and from storage areas, machines and loading docks, into railroad cars or trucks or storage facilities.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Forklift certification per OSHA standards
Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
May be required to use a radio frequency (RF) scanner gun
Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required

Responsibilities

Follow daily production schedule or shipping order and transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks
Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Stack goods in the correct storage bays, follow inventory control instructions
Check to ensure loads are secure
Stack empty pallets
Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Dump materials into machine hoppers
