About The Position
Safely and efficiently operate forklifts to move, load, unload, and organize merchandise, ensuring a continuous flow of product within the warehouse while complying with safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely (sit-down, stand-up, or electric pallet jack).
- Load and unload product from trailers and trucks.
- Transport pallets of fruits and vegetables within the warehouse.
- Place and store product in racks or designated areas.
- Supply product to repack, picking, or shipping areas as needed.
- Ensure pallets are properly stacked and secured.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of forklift equipment.
- Report mechanical issues, damages, or safety incidents.
- Comply with safety, sanitation.
- Assist with physical inventory counts when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
