Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials in our warehouse or production facility using a forklift. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, maintain the organization of inventory, and comply with all safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow all safety protocols.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.
Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including wearing required safety gear.
Assist with the loading and unloading of products manually when required.
Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.
Follow company policies for operating forklifts and handling materials.
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
