The North American Headquarters for Sofidel America is in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania with additional plants operating in six states (Florida, Wisconsin, Nevada, Oklahoma, Ohio, and Mississippi) as a tissue paper manufacturer for Consumer and Away-from-Home products. We are currently looking for a Forklift Operator for our Haines City facility . Loads unloads and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- at least 1 year with forklift experience
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Responsibilities
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves using a lift.
- Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
- Stacks or assembles materials into bundles and bands bundles together.
- Scans labels on pallets, rolls, or other containers.
- Secures lifting attachments to materials and conveys load to destination.
