Forklift Operator II is a forklift operator who is cross trained across all functional areas and duty assignments routine to daily lift truck operations at the manufacturing facility. This role involves staging orders, accurately completing the order selection process, and staging orders for loading. It also includes loading customer orders onto trucks, following proper safety protocols, equipment inspections, and using RF systems. Responsibilities extend to receiving packaging, ingredients, and finished goods, ensuring proper storage, rotation, quality assurance, and documentation. The operator will provide production support by moving finished goods from production lines to warehouse locations (take-away and put-away) and managing product temperature requirements. Troubleshooting inventory issues, handling defective materials, making location adjustments, and locating NIL, zero balance, and damaged items are also key. A full understanding of warehouse safety operations such as battery changing, watering, pallet exchanging, shrink wrapping, allergen compliance, issue reporting, vehicle inspections, and damaged goods processes is required. Additionally, the role supports manufacturing decks by issuing ingredients and managing tote storage.
