About The Position
Temp Material Handler's primary goal is to adhere to strict cGMP guidelines at all times while performing all duties. Ensuring SOP’s and regulations are being followed. Safety of all materials in their assigned locations. Materials Handlers work with all materials and paperwork at all stages in the process such as raw materials, work in process and finished goods. Adhering to schedule guidelines and timeliness required for each order. Job Summary (Key Points) This position is responsible for staging and managing Work Orders, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving operations while following cGMP and SOP guidelines . The role includes operating forklifts (sit-down and stand-up), using a computer system (ERP), and transporting materials between locations .
Requirements
- Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts .
- Computer proficiency .
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly .
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with dry powders .
- Must follow cGMP safety requirements (closed-toe shoes, hair nets, gloves when needed).
Responsibilities
- Stage and organize materials for Work Orders in the ERP system.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and handled according to cGMP and SOP standards.
- Support shipping, receiving, returns, and material depletions .
- Transport materials and load/unload pallets when required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
