The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move and stack lightweight cans within our warehouse environment. You will also assist with other general warehouse duties as needed. This position may involve time both on and off the forklift. The warehouse environment may or may not be climate-controlled, and the role will require a commitment to maintaining high safety standards.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of forklift experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Ability to lift 50-75 pounds regularly
Ability to work in varying temperature conditions
Valid driver’s license and forklift certification required
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards

Responsibilities

Safely operate a forklift to move and stack lightweight cans
Perform daily inspections of forklifts and equipment
Assist with other warehouse duties as required
Follow written instructions and adhere to all safety protocols
Maintain an organized and clean work environment
Ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks performed
Ensure trailers and equipment are safe to enter before loading.
Complete correct shipping documentation and system transitions to ensure proper shipment and inventory accuracy.
Ensure prompt communication with clients, drivers, and guests.
