About The Position

Forklift Driver | Jacksonville | HIRING IMMEDIATELY Do you have experience working as a Forklift Driver, Dock Worker, or a warehouse associate? We want you on our TEAM!!! Pay Rate: $21.99/HR Shift's Available: JOB SUMMARY: Using a Power Industrial Truck, either electric or propane, this position is responsible for moving product from the production line to the warehouse or other areas of the plant as needed. This position is also responsible for the loading and unloading of trucks and for moving large rolls of paper and other supplies from storage areas to operators.

Requirements

  • Good communication skills

  • High Degree of Accuracy
  • Ability to successfully complete OSHA Certified Forklift Training &/or Refresher training
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of Forklift Experience
  • 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Preferred CDL Certification

Responsibilities

  • Ability to load trailers with finished product to ship to customers
  • Ability to unload trailers
  • Ability to unload railcars
  • Ability to transfer product within the facility
  • Ability to store/stack finished product in racks
  • Ability to transfer rolls of paper from warehouse to production floor.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ability to work weekends and overtime
  • Ability to be self directed and motivated.
  • Able to work with a high sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs without assistance.
  • Ability to move light to heavy objects.
  • Ability to visually receive and differentiate colors.
  • Ability to understand written and printed material.
  • Ability to understand verbal information and follow instructions as they are given.
  • Ability to actively exchange ideas/thoughts with others.
  • Ability to get on and off lift truck to inventory product.
  • Ability to us a Scan Gun to move product from specific warehouse locations.
  • Ability to unload rail car within three hours.
  • Ability to detect, recognize and judge differences or changes in print and color.
  • Ability to work under conditions such as heat, cold, and have mobility to grasp small objects and do repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, reaching above shoulders, kneeling and twisting.
  • Ability to stand and or sit for 12 hours.
  • Ability to handle tools or equipment.
  • Ability to work under tight schedules in high pressure situations.
  • Preferred ability to move trailers in and out of docks
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Hazard Analysis & Critical Control (HACCP) programs to ensure the finish product is safe.
