About The Position

As a Production Foreman at Sharon Tube, a Zekelman Industries company, you will coordinate labor assignments and lead employee development while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality plant operations. This role plays a critical part in achieving production goals by enforcing safety standards, maintaining quality expectations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. You will collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to foster a positive work environment, resolve operational issues, and support plant objectives. This is a full-time, onsite role located in Wheatland, PA. This role is well suited for a hands-on leader who demonstrates strong decision-making skills, communicates effectively, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Working knowledge of shop floor systems such as MES, SAP, or similar platforms.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated communication, leadership, and team-building abilities.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to influence productive working relationships.
  • Ability to maintain regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree with an emphasis on management or supervision preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote healthy and safe work practices in compliance with regulatory agencies and Company policy.
  • Perform quality checks on sites and equipment to ensure customer and quality standards are met.
  • Develop work schedules to support production goals and ensure appropriate labor coverage.
  • Delegate responsibilities to team members while maintaining accountability for results.
  • Provide training and cross-training, conduct performance evaluations and reviews, and initiate disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Monitor and supervise cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Generate and review daily operational reports to ensure shift continuity and address issues appropriately.
  • Identify, communicate, and escalate maintenance needs to support uninterrupted operations.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department to develop, implement, and oversee site quality standards.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve plant performance and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Document workplace injuries, recommend corrective actions, and follow up to reinforce a safety-first culture.
  • Hire, coach, develop, monitor, and evaluate employee performance and recommend personnel actions for approval.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
