About The Position

This Position is Subject to Contract Award JANUS Research Group is currently seeking a Foreign Military Sales Senior Analyst for a contract to support the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS, G8. The DCS G-8 is the principal military advisor to the Chief of Staff, Army (CSA) and the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA(FMC)) for the Programming phase of the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) process. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology (ASA(ALT)) on all proposed programming and process recommendations related to ongoing and future acquisition programs and science and technology initiatives. The DCS, G-8 coordinates with Army Futures Command (AFC) for program funding for all elements of the future force materiel modernization enterprise. Position Description: Serves as the Senior Analyst for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) within the Directorate of Integration. Provides analytical and programmatic support for the coordination, tracking, and integration of FMS cases that impact Army modernization, production schedules, and equipment availability. Analyzes FMS requests to assess effects on U.S. Army force structure, readiness, and modernization priorities. Develops information papers, briefings, and reports summarizing FMS activities, timelines, and resource implications for SPAR, POM, and AROC/JROC reviews. Coordinates with USASAC, DASA DEC, OSD, AMC, and ARSTAF to ensure FMS activities align with Army strategy and sustainment objectives.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and/or Business
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
  • Demonstrates expert analytical and program management skills in evaluating and tracking Foreign Military Sales (FMS) cases that impact Army modernization, readiness, and production capacity.
  • Proficient in analyzing cost, schedule, and materiel implications of FMS actions to ensure alignment with Army priorities and sustainment objectives.
  • Skilled in developing reports, briefings, and data products that provide clear visibility into FMS activities and their effects on force structure and resourcing decisions
