About The Position

Description Key Responsibilities: Performing Repairs: Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brakes, air conditioning, and electrical systems. Follow dealership specifications and manufacturer standards for repairs. Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to test-drive vehicles and troubleshoot problems. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as changing oil, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires. Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Customer Interaction: Communicate directly with service advisors about additional service needs and repair timelines. Explain automotive problems and repairs to clients in a clear and understandable manner. Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction. Warranty Work: Execute warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards. Other Duties: Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow safety procedures and guidelines. Stay up-to-date on the latest Lincoln vehicle technology and repair techniques. Lincoln Electric Specifics: For Lincoln Electric, roles may include field service and commissioning support of industrial machinery, troubleshooting equipment issues, and end-user training. May involve programming and troubleshooting PLC and HMI equipment, or writing new PLC and HMI applications. May include troubleshooting in electrical, mechanical, PLC, HMI, robot programming, networks, and Fieldbus.
