About The Position

The Football Assistant Coordinator of Player Personnel assists the Head Coach in organizing and managing all Division I Football program phases, including recruiting, student-athlete academic monitoring, and community/donor relations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of student-athlete recruiting experience
  • Applicants must demonstrate an awareness of and sensitivity to the educational goals of a multicultural population as might have been gained in cross-cultural study, training, teaching and other comparable experience.

  • Master’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of Division I football student-athlete recruiting experience.

Responsibilities

  • Organize recruiting structure for football staff
  • Organize official visits, unofficial visits, recruiting camps, and other student recruiting events.
  • Assist in building a nationally competitive Division I program through successfully recruiting and retaining high-level student-athletes.
  • Evaluate high school and junior college prospects.
  • Evaluate transcripts.
  • Serve as the central point of communication between coaching staff, recruits, and families
  • Manage recruiting calendars, including evaluation periods, visits, and contact windows
  • Organize and maintain recruiting boards and prospect tracking systems
  • Assist coaches with prospect identification and evaluation tracking
  • Compile prospect profiles, transcripts, and film for staff review
  • Track scholarship allocations and positional needs
  • Help develop and distribute recruiting correspondence
  • Build relationships with high school coaches, recruits, and support networks
  • Assist in developing recruiting strategies and visit priorities
  • Support the Director of Recruiting and coaching staff with special projects
  • Assist with transfer portal tracking and evaluations
  • Responsible for assisting in all phases of a Division I intercollegiate football program.
  • Must be committed to the academic goals of the university and follow the rules and guidelines set forth by the NCAA and the Mountain West Conference
