The Iowa State University Athletics Department has openings for Football Analysts/Coaching Assistants . These positions provide consultation and advice to the coaching staff and athletes, playing a significant role in the programs’ ability to effectively develop athletes and make effective game day strategies and decisions for the DI, FBS football program. Examples of what you'll do Work closely with Coaching Staff with effective practice planning and competitive coaching situations. Effectively teach, mentor, and coach to develop well-rounded student-athletes and contribute to and enhance a nationally competitive athletic experience. Identify and help successfully recruit and retain academically qualified and athletically talented student athletes. Manage recruiting activities for assigned prospects and assist with official and unofficial visits. Establish and maintain effective interactions with students, colleagues, university staff, and administrators, alumni, media and the public. A dhere to University, Conference and NCAA policies, procedures, and regulations. Candidates require a high level of football knowledge in relation to the skills, techniques, talent evaluation, and breakdown of tendencies, strategies, and play calling. Requires strong motivational, teaching/coaching and communication skills. Candidates are expected to be committed to multiculturalism and working with a diverse student body. Position will work many non-traditional hours including evenings and weekends and requires the ability to travel overnight.
