About The Position

Assists Coaching staff with game planning and strategy to ensure high quality plays and practice.

Requirements

A bachelor's degree and experience with Division I football program as a player or as staff.
Ability to project the image of the University of Texas and the Athletics Department with dignity and grace regardless of circumstances and environments.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills to enhance interaction with student-athletes, peers, alumni, administrative personnel, and the community.

Responsibilities

Responsible for identifying weaknesses in plays and suggest new strategies to coaching staff in practice.
Responsible for overall game day preparation, statistical analysis, video analysis of opposing teams.
Analyze opposing team strategy, chart tendencies and propose strategic plays.
Analyze film data on current team and opponents and provide summary report and analysis to coaching staff and players
Assist with the coordination of daily administrative support, statistical analyses and opponent preparation within the University of Texas Football Program. This includes, but is not limited to: The coordination of video cutups and distribution of preliminary offensive, defensive, and special teams scouting reports.
Assist self scouting offensive, defensive and special team's schemes.
Support the walk on program with their research of prospective student athletes.
Travel with coaching staff and team to provide statistical support.
Assist with special projects assigned by the Defensive Coordinator, Offensive Coordinator and Head Football Coach.
May drive a personal, UT, or rental vehicle on and off campus.

Annually obtain prior written approval and report all outside activities and outside income.
Report knowledge of, or reasonable cause to believe, violation(s) of state or federal laws, policies, rules, or regulations of the University, Conference, or NCAA to IA ARMCS or IA HR.
Fully cooperate with any investigation by providing complete and accurate information when requested to do so by Texas Athletics and/or the NCAA and do not influence others in any way during an investigation.
