About The Position

As a Foot & Ankle Sales Representative, you will be intensely committed to selling Stryker Foot & Ankle products, aiming to meet customer needs. You are expected to become the resident expert in Foot & Ankle products, engaging with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals. The role demands a high level of energy, thriving in the extreme demands of the Foot & Ankle field, focusing on lives impacted rather than hours worked. You must be adept at organizing materials and quickly finding solutions during operating room consultations. Meticulous management and maintenance of product inventory are crucial, as is being prepared to assist customers at any time. Your expertise, encompassing both Stryker products and competitors' offerings, will build credibility with surgeons who rely on you for advice and training on life-saving products and tools. This role is for someone who is driven to make healthcare better by selling Stryker products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years experience in a clinical healthcare or sales role (or a combination of the two)
  • Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, including marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge in the use of current office technologies (MSOffice suite, databases, etc.)
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships
  • Must be comfortable in emergency/operating room environments
  • Ability to participate in and attend sales meetings and professional association meetings outside regular business hours, as required

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of Sales Experience
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with surgeons & hospitals in respective areas

Responsibilities

  • Sell Stryker Foot & Ankle products that meet customers’ needs
  • Become the resident Foot & Ankle expert
  • Work with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals
  • Organize materials and sort possible solutions quickly during operating room consultations
  • Meticulously manage and maintain inventory of products
  • Be prepared to assist a customer whenever the need arises
  • Provide advice and training on products and tools used to save lives
  • Adhere to compliance and the principles of responsibility (AdvaMed) by maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of information, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations, accreditation and licenser requirements, and Company’s policies and procedures
  • Obtain the COVID-19 vaccination as an essential function of the role, depending on customer requirements, for sales and field roles that require access to customer accounts
