About The Position

Barrels & Boards is seeking motivated and experienced team members to join our Food Truck and Mobile Catering team for the upcoming season. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and enjoy working a variety of events—from large-scale festivals to private catered functions.
Team members will be responsible for supporting all aspects of food truck operations, including food preparation, cooking, service, and maintaining a high standard of quality and efficiency consistent with the Barrels & Boards brand.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Valid driver’s license required
• Flexible schedule with open availability preferred
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work in various outdoor weather conditions
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience required
• Culinary experience or kitchen training preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and team-oriented mindset
• Excellent communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, cooking, and plating in a high-volume environment
• Execute service efficiently during busy events and peak periods
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the food truck and workstations
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Provide excellent customer service at public and private events
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations
• Assist with setup and breakdown of events as needed
