About The Position

We are looking to hire friendly Food Service workers to prepare meals and to serve our customers. The Food Service worker will perform food preparation duties and serve customers swiftly and efficiently. To be successful in this role, you need to perform optimally in a dynamic, high-pressure environment. We offer a dynamic work environment where team members have the opportunity to cross-train and gain expertise in various roles. It's important to note that certain roles are exclusively available for individuals aged 16 and above. Through cross-training, our team can seamlessly transition between different roles, providing valuable support wherever it's needed. You might become an expert in one or two roles, or you might discover that you enjoy many and become a master in them all!

Requirements

  • Must be 14 years of age or older to become a Food Runner
  • Must be 16 years of age or older to become a Food Cashier or Food Cook
  • Flexibility to work all shifts (weekdays, evening, and weekends), commit to working a minimum of 10 hours a week
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Complete and comply with Mandatory Basic Food Safety Training
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
  • Cash handling skills are imperative
  • Operate cash registers and handle customer transactions accurately
  • Process payments, issue receipts, and provide change
  • Keep the cashier area clean and organized
  • Demonstrate active listening capabilities
  • Foster effective communication with team members
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • Collect food items promptly to ensure a streamlined and efficient process
  • Ensure all food items are cooked to the required temperature
  • Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, fryers, broilers, commercial ovens
  • Follow instructions for specific food items being prepared
  • Monitor food preparation and presentation to ensure that it meets the highest standards
  • Ensure consistency in flavor, presentation, and quality
  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards
  • Receive, store, and rotate stock items in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality
