Job Summary: The Food Services Staff reports to the designated manager in coordination of the Food Services Director with the primary duties of following recipes in providing nutritious and attractive meals to be served in Food Services. Acts as a resource for the Food Services department and builds effective, strong working relationships to enhance department operations and functions. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Provide support services to the department in a manner that professionally, cordially, and efficiently assists students, faculty, staff, and visitors Prepare food from recipes, take orders, and prepare food in a timely fashion Perform duties as cashier for patrons as needed Assist in other areas as requested Specific assignments are based on unit need and assigned by the supervisor which could include such things as adjusting recipes for serving amount, complete food preparation production sheets, clean up and sanitary conditions of assigned area, major cleaning of appliances, ensure proper storage and disposal of unused foods, cleaning and restocking beverage machine stations, condiment areas, and snack areas, cleaning and organizing dining area tables and chairs About SWOSU: With locations in Weatherford, Yukon, Sayre, and online degree programs, SWOSU is one of the leading regional universities in the country.
