Additionally, the Food Specialist will prepare and distribute meals and snacks to children and staff in classrooms, focusing on health and safety by following daily menus that incorporate USDA, licensing, and health department regulations. The role also requires maintaining inventory of food and supplies, ordering as needed, and assisting in classrooms as an Assistant Teacher/Floater when necessary.
