About The Position

As a Food Service Associate, you'll help create a positive dining experience for patients, families, and staff. Your responsibilities include: Preparing, plating, and serving meals. Transporting food and supplies promptly and safely. Providing courteous, accurate service and resolving customer concerns. Maintaining sanitation and infection control standards to ensure food safety. Operating food service and computer equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic food safety, sanitation, and infection control.
• Serve Safe training may be required.
• ISDOH Food Handler certification (Title 410 IAC 7-22) may be required at some locations.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling.

Nice To Haves

• Basic computer skills
• Familiarity with CBORD system preferred.
