About The Position

As a Retail Food Service Worker, you’ll help create a positive dining experience for patients, families, and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic food safety, sanitation, and infection control.
• Serve Safe training may be required.
• ISDOH Food Handler certification (Title 410 IAC 7-22) may be required at some locations.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with CBORD system preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, plating, and serving meals.
• Transporting food and supplies promptly and safely.
• Providing courteous, accurate service and resolving customer concerns.
• Maintaining sanitation and infection control standards to ensure food safety.
• Operating food service and computer equipment.
