About The Position

This position is responsible for providing support to the warehouse operations in the transportation of food, equipment, and/or supplies to designated sites. The role requires maintaining the vehicle in a safe and sanitary operating condition. This position is an integral part of the Food Services Team.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability
Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with interruptions
Ability to perform basic math
Demonstrated ability in compiling, organizing, and analyzing data
Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and safety practices and procedures
Demonstrated ability to schedule activities, meet deadlines and schedules
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.)
High degree of motivation, responsibility and confidentiality
Highly collaborative team player
Ability to work with a wide diversity of individuals
Ability to self-initiate areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement, and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results

Responsibilities

Assist warehouse personnel as needed and/or assigned to maintain warehouse operations.
Load, transport and unload equipment, food items, and supplies for the purpose of preparing items for transport to assigned location.
Maintain files and records (e.g. return tickets, delivery logs, routes, mileage, etc.) to convey information and for written documentation.
Maintain assigned vehicle (e.g. fluid levels, fueling, cleaning, tire pressure, etc.) to ensure safe operations of vehicle and sanitation of transported food.
Other duties as assigned.
