About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a complete inventory of supplies for all district building sites. This position is expected to fill orders for district building sites and assisting with the delivery of warehouse items to sites in a timely manner. This position is part of the Food Service Team and reports to Food Service Logistic Manager.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• One-year experience operating a forklift.
• Certified to operate a forklift or able to quickly attain forklift certification.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• High degree of confidentiality, motivation, and responsibility.
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing, compiling, and organizing data.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
• Highly collaborative team player.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Ability to self-initiate areas of opportunity, make recommendations for improvement, and follow up as necessary to achieve desired results.

Responsibilities

• Assists drivers in meeting timetables for loading and delivery for the purpose of ensuring that all drivers can maintain their individual schedules.
• Checks dates on supplies for the purpose of ensuring supplies are current.
• Drives a forklift for the purpose of lifting supplies when loading or unloading deliveries.
• Fills orders for food production sites for the purpose of ensuring that each site has supplies necessary for completing planned menus.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
