About The Position

Supervises the management and operations of District meals program service units and organizes and manages the department-wide computer system for production, menu management and materials management or cashiering and Federal Meals Program eligibility. Provides administrative support to the Administrative Coordinators and Director.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Food Service Management or related field AND Three years of experience in food services management or equivalent such as dietetic internship AND Two (2) years of production experience.
Associate Degree in Food Service Management or Culinary Arts Certification AND Five (5) years food services management experience.
Ten (10) years food service management experience inclusive of hands on production planning and production experience AND Coursework in computer science and computer applications, human resources, supervision, organization communications and marketing in progress (enrolled and attending).
Experience with data entry, reporting, and system design of computerized food service system required.
Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
21 credits of course work completed within 2 years of hire.
FBI fingerprint background check.
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Must hold a valid Driver's license (Arizona Driver’s License required within 30 days of hire)
MVReport – showing no more than the allowable points against Driver’s License as described under Governing Board Policy: EEB-R-1 Business and Personnel Transportation Services - Transportation by Employees.
ADOT (Arizona Dept. of Transportation) medical certificate.
