Food Services Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking a Food Services Assistant to work in the cafeteria at a residential school for individuals with intellectual disabilities. Full-time 40 hours/week Schedule: 6am-2pm with some weekends and holidays included. Duties include: Preparing and serving meals, following USDA guidelines. Ensuring cleanliness of meal prep areas, dishes and other kitchen surfaces. Providing a friendly environment for residents and staff. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must pass background checks and drug screen.
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe certification preferred but not required.
