About The Position

Position Summary: Reporting to the Food Services Manager and working within the kitchen, cafeteria, dishroom and/or patient services, the Food Service Worker performs a variety of food service tasks in the areas of meal assembly, service and delivery, dishwashing, sanitation and safety.

Requirements

  • Ability to work variable shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions in English

  • Knowledge and practice of kitchen sanitary control techniques
  • Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen/dining environment, interacting closely with customers and peers.
