About The Position
The Food Service Worker provides efficient and friendly food service to customers. Performs a variety of duties in the department including hot and cold food preparation, grill cooking, portioning hot and cold foods, cash handling and general cleaning of area.
Requirements
- Minimum (1) one year of general food service experience.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience can be accepted in lieu of education.
- Ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English.
- General kitchen knowledge in food safety, sanitation, & production.
- Ability to organize time; promote teamwork to achieve CHOC's mission; understand and exceed customer expectations.
Nice To Haves
- Two or more (2+) years of experience with food service.
- Associate degree.
- Computer skills. Ability to use web based programs.
- Serv-Safe certification Food Handlers Card.
