This team specializes in operations, process, and efficiency, leading all food and food services, including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional signing processes for all Food & Beverage areas of the store. The Food Service Team Leader role at Target is designed to provide meaningful experiences that help build and develop career skills. These include guest service fundamentals, fostering a guest-first and freshness culture, understanding Food & Beverage business fundamentals (department sales trends, freshness, food safety and quality, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing, and promotions strategies), planning daily/weekly workload to meet business priorities and sales, and leading a team of hourly members through interviewing, training, coaching, evaluating, retaining, and developing talent.
