Our Food Service Manager will be responsible for inventory and money control and act as the point person for marketing initiatives. At Global Partners, business starts with people. This role is responsible for interviewing, hiring and training new hires. The manager will also help working front counter along with staff, process all daily computer reports, balance daily cash and bring cash deposits to the bank on days when reports are processed. Other duties include placing all food & supply orders, counting inventory and creating produce orders, checking orders in and organizing any stock, and knowledge of equipment maintenance. The manager will assist guests at the cash register/POS, take and fill orders at the drive through (if applicable), and inform guests of current active promotions when appropriate. Food preparation must be done in a safe and responsible manner, according to guidelines and specifications. General cleaning tasks are also required, including sweeping & mopping, window washing, regular cleaning of equipment, washing dishes, emptying trash, and cleaning bathrooms. The manager will help fellow store associates when needed with various tasks, complete shift reports and reconcile cash, receive and organize deliveries of dry, refrigerated, and frozen stock items, and complete operations logs including temperature logs & recording food waste.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail food sales and prior leadership experience in a food service environment required
  • Must attend mandatory meetings (I.e. T.A.M, sexual harassment, etc.)
  • Must be available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, weekends and or holidays
  • Assist other locations as needed
  • Be available via phone after regular business hours, weekends, and holidays
  • Be able to freely access all areas of the store
  • Must be able to work any area of the store when needed, including work in walk-in coolers and freezers
  • Must be able to perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, grasping firmly, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below the waist, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Strong math and computer skills including Microsoft Office and email
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
