About The Position

Eau Claire Golf & Country Club is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Expeditor / Runner to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality food delivery while maintaining seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house service team. This role is responsible for both supporting the expo line and delivering food from the kitchen to service staff in the Club’s various dining outlets, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from kitchen to table. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates a strong sense of urgency, and is committed to delivering an exceptional member experience.

Requirements

  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • High level of attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs.
  • Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between the kitchen and service staff to ensure accurate and timely food delivery.
  • Ensure all dishes are properly plated, garnished, and presented to Club standards before leaving the kitchen.
  • Verify orders for accuracy, completeness, and proper modifications.
  • Deliver food from the kitchen to servers across various dining outlets in a timely and organized manner.
  • Deliver food promptly to members and guests while maintaining proper presentation and professionalism.
  • Provide brief, confident descriptions of dishes when delivering food to enhance the member experience.
  • Communicate clearly with chefs, servers, and bartenders regarding order status, timing, and special requests.
  • Assist servers in clearing and resetting tables as needed to support efficient service flow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, kitchen pass, and service areas.
  • Support both culinary and front-of-house teams during peak service periods.
  • Demonstrate full knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
  • Uphold all Troon and Club service standards, policies, and procedures.
