Under the direction of the Manager of Nutrition Services and the Supervisor of Nutrition Services, the Food Service Worker performs food preparation duties such as cold food, salad and catering production. Duties may include stocking patient floors, setting up and cleaning up catering events, and working a position on the patient trayline. All positions require that daily cleaning be done in each area and checklist areas signed. Equipment used includes blenders, food processors, mixers, and slicers. Interacts with patients in an age-appropriate manner for all age groups (infant, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric).
