About The Position
The position involves communicating any assistance needed during busy periods to the Chef to ensure optimum services. Responsibilities include notifying the manager if a product does not meet specifications, checking and ensuring the correctness of the temperature of appliances and food, monitoring the quantity of food prepared and portions served, ensuring proper portioning, arrangement, and food garnish, and serving food in proper portions onto the correct receptacle. The role also requires setting up, cleaning, and breaking down the work station, washing and disinfecting the kitchen area including tables, tools, knives, and equipment, preparing ingredients for cooking, and cooking food. Additionally, adherence to company and safety policies is essential, including reporting maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager, completing safety training and certifications, and maintaining a clean and professional appearance. The position requires developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others and ensuring adherence to quality expectations and standards.
