About The Position

Meriwether Godsey is looking for a Full-time Food Service Associate to work in the cafeteria at Brooks School, a boarding school serving over 500 students, faculty, and staff on a 270-acre campus overlooking beautiful Lake Cochichewick in North Andover, MA. Full Time Sunday 9:00 AM--6:30 PM Mon-Thursday 12:00 PM-8 PM Friday & Saturday Off Free Meals and Uniforms

Requirements

2-5 years related food service experience preferred
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Excellent communication and good organizational skills
Flexibility; ability to switch between job duties
Reliable Transportation

Nice To Haves

ServSafe Food Handler Certification preferred

Responsibilities

Greet customers with a positive and friendly attitude
Operate registers, scanners, scales, and credit card/debit card terminals while handling exchanges in a quick, efficient manner
Transport food and supplies to cafeteria area: assist in the set-up, maintenance, and breakdown of cafeteria, food serving, and beverage areas.
Serves and replenishes food from food counters and steam tables.
Assists in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
Keep cafeteria areas and assigned kitchen areas neat and organized
Clean and sanitize work areas, dining tables, chairs, and equipment throughout and after meal periods
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of other kitchen areas by following daily and weekly cleaning assignments
Inspects workstations for compliance with service standards.
Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
