About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a part-time on-call Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) to work as needed shifts at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is part of the Lakeside campus . Minimum age requirement of 18 years old. The schedule for this position would include Friday and Saturday 7:00am-2:00pm, with some other days during the week, shifts either 10:30am-7:00pm or 4:00-7:00pm. holidays will be required. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips) plus a $1,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Requirements

• Previous food service experience is required, preferably in a health care setting as a dietary aide/food service associate.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a long-term care setting with altered diets is preferred.
• For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher.
• Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register.
• Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria.
