Part Time Weekend Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide)
About The Position
Are you a Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) looking to work for an amazing organization by serving others and connecting with your co-workers? Immanuel Communities is seeking a Part-time Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) to work at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House has 24 skilled nursing/rehabilitation and 72 long-term care suites. The schedule for this position will be 3:00pm-7:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays, including holidays. Minimum age of 18 years old required for consideration for this position. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips) . Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education.
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a long term healthcare setting preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in patient tray line assembly
- Loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher
- Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons
- Operates the cash register
- Maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria
