About The Position

Immanuel Communities is seeking a part-time on-call Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) to work as needed shifts at The Lighthouse, located at 17600 Arbor Street, Omaha, NE 68130. The Lighthouse has 54 skilled nursing and long-term care suites and is part of the Lakeside campus . Minimum age requirement of 18 years old. The schedule for this position varies, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and can work on-call shifts to include 7:00am-2:00pm, 10:30am-7:00pm or 3:45pm-7:00pm, depending on business needs of the community. Weekends and holidays will be required. This position will pay up to $18.31/hour (straight pay/no tips) plus a $1,000 Hiring Bonus (conditions apply). Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and education. Job Duties & Skills Required What You Will Do The primary responsibilities of a Food Service Associate (Dietary Aide) include assisting in patient tray line assembly and related duties such as loading, operating, and cleaning the dishwasher. Assists in the service of meals to cafeteria patrons and operates the cash register. Also maintains the records, inventories, surveys, and other controls relevant to the cafeteria. Skills & Requirements Previous food service experience is required, preferably in a health care setting as a dietary aide/food service associate. E xperience working in a long-term care setting with altered diets is preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. For cafeteria duties, cash handling experience preferred.
