Position Details
Status: Casual (8 hours/week)
Schedule: Evening shifts, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM on weekdays and weekends required
Location: Wilmington, DE

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous food service experience preferred (6 months or more)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and infection control
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, reach, and stand for extended periods
• Exposure to infectious materials, cleaning chemicals, and temperature variations
• Must pass a physical exam and be drug-free

Nice To Haves

• Previous food service experience preferred (6 months or more)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals for patients and cafeteria guests with accuracy and attention to dietary needs
• Deliver meal trays and nourishments promptly, ensuring excellent customer service
• Maintain food safety standards, proper storage, and sanitation procedures
• Operate dishwashing and food service equipment safely and efficiently
• Communicate effectively with patients, nursing staff, and team members
