About The Position

Saint Alphonsus Medical Center located in Boise is hiring a Customer Service Aide to support the Food and Nutrition Services Department. This position is responsible for food production, assembly and sanitation of equipment, patient care service, storeroom, cafeteria and catering. What will you do: Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Organizational Mission, Core Values, and Vision in behaviors, practices, policies and decisions. Prepares and assembles food items for patients on regular and modified diets, as well as for cafeteria customers. Delivers and retrieves patient food trays. Serves food items to cafeteria customers. Cleans and sanitizes equipment and work areas. Assists in dish room as needed. Competency in basic reading and oral communication required. Must be able to operate equipment used by Food Service staff. Ability to disassemble and reassemble machines to keep equipment clean. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. Previous related work experience preferred but not required. Schedule/Benefit Information: This position will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Shifts can include weekends, weekdays and holidays. As this role is PRN, it is not eligible for benefits.
