Requirements

Must have a minimum of 6 months quantity raw food preparation and production experience in a commercial, professional (back-of-the house) kitchen facility
Ability to read and follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to report to work on time and complete the assigned work shift.

Nice To Haves

12 months of relevant commercial kitchen raw food preparation and production experience (preferred)
1+ year of both FOH and BOH (Front-of-House / kitchen and Back-of-House / Dining Room) food service production and service experience in a senior living community organization or healthcare facility (preferred)

Responsibilities

Dishwashing - primarily utilizing a commercial dish washing machine; some dishwashing completed manually.
Food preparation - prepares assigned food items for the Cook, Baker and Salad Production staff. Including, but not limited to following production lists, recipes, and washing, slicing and preparing raw fruit and vegetables.
Works in a collaborative effort with the nurses and caretakers to deliver quality and timely meals for senior living residents; including placing meal items on plates for residents, delivering meals and beverages to tables, and fulfilling special meal requests for residents and resident caretakers/nurses as needed.
Service clean up after meal service in dining room following established procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned, including those assigned by a Supervisor, Lead and/or Cook.
