Food Service Aide/ Waitstaff

LSSI is hiring a full-time Food Service Aide- Wait Staff, Monday through Friday. Responsible for completing assigned food service duties. Benefits and Perks: LSSI is growing! Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Background check clearance required.
- Food Sanitation or Food Handlers Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- Two-step TB test required.
- Experience operating kitchen equipment in a safe manner required.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and follow instructions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing.
Nice To Haves
- Previous waitstaff experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist cook with food preparation.
- Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines and food service requirements in accordance with regulatory, licensing, and agency standards.
- Prepare table in dining areas.
- Serve tables before, during and after meal service.
- Assist in care and cleaning of dining room and kitchen areas, utensils, equipment, and supplies.
- Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and/or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest, and fair manner.
