About The Position

THE JOB: The Food Server's primary responsibility is to take and deliver orders, maintain tables, ensure guest satisfaction, and process payments. Additional duties include performing side work and keeping assigned stations clean.

Requirements

  • Expertise in menu items, including wine and champagne by the glass, major wines, liquor brands, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, appropriate glassware, terminology, and garnishes.
  • Familiarity with standard kitchen equipment and supplies such as toasters, refrigerators, coolers, slicers, and beverage machines.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Proficient in using computers and Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for effective communication with guests and team members.
  • Knowledge of services, features, local attractions, and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.
  • Is available to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years of previous serving experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant (preferred)

  • Keep assigned areas, side stations, tables, and POS stations clean and well-stocked.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly with urgency.
  • Collaborate with management, chefs, and culinary staff to address guest requests and operational needs.
